April Rink is the art director of NEHA. She earned degrees in communication studies and marketing at Cazenovia College before attending Newhouse. While at Syracuse, she was the managing editor of Medley Magazine and a reporting intern at Advance Media New York. She comes from a family of artists and carpenters, so it was no surprise that she would also fall into this category by becoming a journalist with an interest in several types of design.
